Sonnet¡¦s products include SLIMS, a laboratory information system that directs the full spectrum of laboratory accessioning, testing, reporting and future in billing.  Sonnet¡¦s product also support bilingual data input and result reporting to meet regional laboratory specific requirements.

Rather than include all possible features that every lab might require, we have designed SLIMS as a solid baseline product that each site can customize.  This approach makes SLIMS an affordable solution, unlike the one-size-fit-all products that are leaving the laboratory really needed behind.  Since we support customizing, the additions of features specific to an individual laboratory are also possible.

Sonnet¡¦s historical emphasis has been on the Hospital Laboratory and Private Laboratory market, which has provided extensive experience with the claims processing aspect of the business.  In particular, Sonnet¡¦s systems are designed to support the demands placed on hospital and laboratories.  We continue to focus on current hospital and laboratory reimbursement issue, ranging from increasing Medicare restrictions, to the general impact of managed care.
